As we all know,in most of the present motorcycles power of the engine is transfered to the rear wheel through a chain. But, back in time existed a front-wheel drive motorcycles like the German Megola. In 1935 a group of five German engineers named Killinger und Freund from Munich started upgrading and modifying the model which won many motorcycle races in the 1920s. The group worked three years over the project. The engine displacement stayed the same as the Megola at 600cc but was much lighter and more simplified than a standard 100cc motorcycle of the time. Zepelin-style Wind Turbine

Altaeros Energies was founded in 2010 by MIT and Harvard colleagues. The company has developed a floating wind turbine and after some successful tests, the Altaeros team is confident that their project could become a successful power source. This Airborne Wind Turbine has very simple composition. As we all know, winds that move high above the ground level are much stronger than the winds who “operate” closer to the ground level. So, explained as simple as possible, a helium filled, tube-shaped balloon lifts the turbine off the ground to a higher height. The airborne turbines are held steady by strong tethers, […]
