Vespa scooters might be the farthest things from a cool ride, but you can’t say the company didn’t step up its game with its latest scooter.

The all-electric scooter will be sold in late 2017. Vespa’s parent company, Piaggio, announced the news days ahead of the Milan Motorcycle Show.

However, the company released no other details other than the photo and a few blanket statements.

The Vespa Elettrica has a sleek metal body and blue accents. Piaggio didn’t even a hint as to what the new Vespa will cost.

“The Electric Vespa will, first and foremost, be a true Vespa, bringing the very latest in electric technology to a vehicle that will retain all the features that have been vital to its success,” the Piaggio group said in a statement. “The style, agility, ease of use and riding pleasure will be the same as the Vespa we have always known, with the addition of technological and innovative connectivity solutions.”

Vespa’s LX 50 currently runs about $3,299. 2016 Vespa LXV 150 start at nearly $5,000. Vespa’s GTV 300 costs nearly $7,400. An all-electric system could easily run on the higher end of the Vespa line.
