A robot playing a rendition of “Amazing Grace” on bagpipes might be what you needed. You probably didn’t even know you needed it, and yet, here it is.
John Dingley (or XenonJohn on Instructables) will even walk you through how to build your own robotic bagpipe playing machine. The aptly-named Ardu McDuino is powered by an Arduino Mega 2560 system. And when the video is muted, the robot itself is pretty impressive with each articulated finger successfully covering and uncovering each hole. You can clearly hear each note.
According to Dingley, the only downside is that it still requires a human to blow into it like a traditional bagpipe. However, he’s working on an air pump so this robot can keep playing all day, every day. Oh joy.
