The event took meticulous training to cordinate 90 drivers in order to precicly execute the movment of the clock for 24 hours straight. Accomidating 14 trucks required a massive clock face, an incredible 70,000 square meters.

'Trucks are huge, powerful machines, but they're also intricately designed, refined instruments. Just like watches,"

Explains Staffan Arvas, Head of Marketing Communications at Scania, the Swedish vehicle firm who cordinated the entire event.

"Each truck had to be optimised for its specific task in the clock, and real-time monitoring and analysis through our connected services made the whole operation possible"

The trucks were tuned and modified to redue the wear from the habitual motion. Each truck syncrondized with eachother by varying their speed at different points of the circle.

"The inside truck had to maintain a constant speed of 13 km/h, while the outside truck had to hold a constant speed of 53 km/h"

Says Scania.
