So without further ado, here are some of the best robotics events you really don't want to miss in 2020. The following list is far from exhaustive and is in no particular order.
1. The International Conference on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence should be interesting
Running between the 17th and 18th of February 2020 in Paris, France the International Conference on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is a must-see.
The theme of the event is "Probing Innovations-Opportunities in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence”. It has been organized to bring practitioners, administrators, policymakers, politicians and researchers within the field of robotics and technical research together for a collaborative bonanza.
"Conference themes will focus on different fields like autonomous and manual robots and artificial intelligence robots. It will cover the latest developments as well as future perspectives relating to robots and human interactive communication." - Pulsus Conference.
2. The Global Robot Expo 2020 does everything it says on the tin
Set to be held between April the 1st and 2nd 2020, The Global Robot Expo 2020 is another not-to-miss event. The event is run by GR-EX, which is a business-to-business international exhibition that focusses on innovation, robotics, and related tech.
It runs every year and is held in IFEMA in Madrid, Spain.
"The multisectoral essence of GR-EX makes it unique and allows the creation of synergies between professionals who do not coincide in sectoral events. GR-EX shows the latest advances in artificial intelligence, industry, service robotics, logistics, drones, and aerospace technologies, among other sectors." - inbots.eu.
3. RoboBusiness Conference 2020 is always enlightening
Held every year, the next scheduled event will be held between the 15th and 17th of September 2020 in Santa Clara, California. This robotics event is one of the most diverse conferences on robotics in the world.
It caters to many aspects of robotics to many industries from development to manufacturing and beyond.
The event regularly attracts thousands of robotics professionals annually with 2020 probably being no exception. No details beyond the prospective-dates exist at present, but from past events, it is bound to be a blast.
The event has run since 2005 and has, in no small part, injected much-needed inspiration for professionals around the world.
4. The SRS Robothon is always great fun
The 2019 SRS Robothon is held on the 5th of October at the Seattle Center in Seattle. If you missed it we really feel your pain - - it is one of the most fun robotics events of the year.
It is usually held annually, and the dates for the 2020 event are yet to be confirmed. However, this yearly competition pits some of the best minds in amateur robotics against one another.
The event is open to the public and is free to enter. It is sponsored by the Seattle Center Armory and exists to help showcase the talents of amateur robotics enthusiasts from around the world.
