Working in an office can certainly be tiresome and tedious and it may leave you procrastinating and looking for outlets to pass the time and have fun. Being an engineer, you may put your mind towards constructing something using the supplies around you, and that's exactly what DaveHax did with his simplistic yet genius office supplies crossbow.

The video on his Youtube channel shows you how to make your own. There's not a lot to it and it's fairly simply made, yet it seems to pack quite a bit of power. Assembling some pencils, an elastic band and a folder clip, he manages to construct a crossbow that fires pen inserts with enough power to pierce cardboard. It's probably here we should add our 'Do not try this at home' disclaimer, or you could take DaveHax's words, '1,2,3,4 I declare office wars!'
Crossbows, based on the bow, have been found in textual accounts of war all the way back to the 4th century BC. They played a massive role in the change of warfare as archery was considered a skill that required lifetime training, physical strength and expertise to operate with any degree of efficiency. Now you can knock one up in your office using supplies lying around and let the fun begin.
