1. Planet of the Apes (1968)

Planet of the Apes is probably one of the oldest movies about the time-traveling. The film tells us a story about four astronauts. The crew time travels to the year 2006 by mistake. And when they land on an unknown planet, things start to get messier. They find out that the planet is taken over by apes. Planet of the Apes is not just a great time travel movie; it's also a great early example of a sci-fi movie.
2. Time Bandits (1981)
Kevin is a creative child of two annoying parents. One day, six bandits appear in Kevin's bedroom, and the adventure starts here. Time Bandits is using time-traveling to describe us about the good and the bad. While doing that, it is also using a little help from a kid's perspective, and some dwarfs.
