Apple's next-gen iPhone SE
"The first iPhone SE was a hit with many customers who loved its unique combination of small size, high-end performance and affordable price," said Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Phil, in the announcement.
The iPhone SE will use an iOS 13 operating system, and is compatible with a wide array of Apple's usual features, like Apple News, Apple Pay, the App Store, Apple TV+, iCloud, and Apple Watch devices. The phone will also support the use of Apple's Lightning connector, so users may charge and make use of accessories like CarPlay and docs.
The new iPhone SE will have memory storage for 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB variants, with white, black, and a proprietary RED color option.
Initial pricing will start at $399 with the price going up based on which storage variant is chosen. It's also available for preorder starting at 5:00 AM PDT (8:00 PM EDT) on Friday, April 17, at apple's official website, and the Apple Store app. Other authorized sellers and Apple Stores will have the phone ready for purchase on Friday, April 24.

"The new second-generation iPhone SE builds on a great idea and improves on it in every way — including our best-ever single-camera system for great photos and videos — while still being affordable," added Schiller, in the iPhone SE announcement.
Schiller also added that the new smartphone includes an "industry-leading performance of A13 Bionic that enables great battery life," which includes a Portrait mode, and can also take Smart HDR photos. The iPhone SE takes "amazing video with stereo audio," according to Schiller.
Now that Touch ID is back in the iPhone game, the Home button of earlier designs is also making a return. Larger bezels included in previous iPhone generations are also back in style.
