Elon Musk Admits to Being Simpsons' Supervillain Hank Scorpio on Twitter
We are used to Elon Musk getting a little carried away on Twitter that's why we weren't too surprised when we heard the latest news. In response to a fan stating that Musk must be Simpsons' supervillain Hank Scorpio, the billionaire philanthropist finally confessed that he is indeed, jokingly of course.
The fan's post said: "We all know Elon Musk is just Hank Scorpio, Elon knows it's true!!!!!" Musk then replied: "Just because he has a flamethrower and I have a flamethrower doesn’t mean … um … ok fine I’m Hank Scorpio."

An animated supervillain
Hank Scorpio is a supervillain in the episode "You Only Move Twice" of the animated sitcom series 'The Simpsons." The story illustrates how Homer gets a new position in a perfect new town.

Unfortunately, he soon discovers all is not well in his new abode as his friendly new boss, Scorpio, is actually a supervillain with plans for world domination. This is not the first time Musk has been compared to Scorpio or other supervillains such as Superman's Lex Luthor and Bond's Dominic Greene.
However, the Scorpio character shares a striking resemblance to Musk due to his use of flamethrowers. During the end of the Simpsons episode, Scorpio tries to set his enemies on fire using a flamethrower.
Back in 2018, Musk started selling a flamethrower called Not-a-Flamethrower. The cheeky name was an attempt to bypass U.S. shipping regulations that restrict the transport of anything called a flamethrower but the product was a true success selling 20,000 units.
