Last week, Elon Musk and his girlfriend Claire “Grimes” Boucher were blessed with a wonderful baby boy, and they decided to name it X Æ A-12. People on social media had a riot trying to figure out how you pronounce the name and what it means.

This week, Musk went on the Joe Rogan show, and one of the first things he was asked was about the name's pronunciation. "How do you say the name?" asked Rogan.

Musk laughed and revealed the name was mostly Grimes' doing but then went on to explain how to pronounce it. "It's just X, the letter X and then the Æ is pronounced Ash and A 12 is my contribution," said Musk.

Musk also explained that A 12 stood for "Archangel-12, the precursor to the SR-71, coolest plane ever." Well, there you have it, folks!

We must admit it did not come as much of a surprise since Grimes had already tweeted about the name earlier.

As excited as the couple may be about their new name, there is always the chance that California’s Office of Vital Records may not accept it as valid, People reported.

"In California, you can only use the '26 characters' of the English language in your baby name," David Glass, a family law attorney, told People. If that's the case, we can't wait to see what new and original name Musk and Grimes come up with to replace this one.

Meanwhile, if you are wondering what cute pet name can be given to little X Æ A-12, it should be noted that his grandma, Musk's mother, called him X in a recent Twitter post.
