Google is holding its annual developer conference Google I/O starting today up until May 9th. The event is a platform where Google outlines its priorities for the next year.

Google I/O 2019 kicks off 1 pm New York time, 6 pm London time today.
Where is it held?
The event is held at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.
Who will host it?
The keynote is expected to be given by CEO Sundar Pichai. His fellow executives are also expected to participate.
What will it likely cover?
Android Q: Google is expected to release to the public the next version of its Android operating system, Android Q, in the latter half of this year. The operating system will be the successor to Android Pie and will be covered in great detail during the event.
Google Stadia: The game streaming service is set to use remote servers to beam titles to almost any device in the world. It is said to feature an impressive 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL: For months, rumors have circulated that the company will launch these cheaper versions of its Pixel smartphone.
Guidelines for folding phones: In November 2018, Google started to release developer guidelines on how to make apps work on folding screens. In this event, we are bound to hear more.
Nest Hub Max: Google already accidentally released details on the Nest Hub Max which appears to be a bigger version of its Google Home Hub.
Google Assistant: The Alexa competitor is bound to come up as Google continues its focus on artificial intelligence.
