Everything You Need to Know About the New MacBook Pro
Yesterday, Apple released its latest MacBook Pro. The laptop is set to become the premier option for Apple users. MacBooks haven't seen a major update in years, so this new MacBook Pro garnered a lot of hype and rumors surrounding its release.
The Touch Bar, which replaces the function keys along the keyboard's top row, is the biggest novelty of the MacBook Pro. The app-aware Touch Bar provides different functions depending on the app users have open.
Photos from the Photo App appear on the OLED touch slider. Emojis in messaging replace text. It all depends on the app being used. The Touch Bar comes integrated with a Touch ID sensor to log into the MacBook with a finger press. It also lets you unlock financial transactions with Apple Pay.

"We're introducing a new way to interact with your notebook... [it] provides a More intuitive more immediate connection with your content," said Jony Ive, Apple's chief design officer.
The laptop itself boasts impressive improvements. It has the best retina display Apple has put into a notebook. Higher contrast, wider color. Larger trackpad. Refined keyboard design and illumination. Dome switches improved for a better feel.
The new MacBook Pro comes in 13-inch and 15-inch styles. Both sizes come in the matte silver aluminum or space gray finishes. The 15-inch system comes equipped with a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 processor. Intel HD Graphics 530 and an AMD Radeon Pro 450 GPU with 2GB of VRAM will keep users feeling like they have the fastest computer around for years.

The only downside to the new MacBook Pro seems to be its lack of USB 3.0 ports, and its USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 isn't compatible with everything just yet. Also, several tech sites have noted that the Touch Bar, while innovative and really cool, is risky to travel with given its sensitivity.
MacBook Pro systems will start at $1.500 for the 13-inch version, and they're available for order now.
