LEGO Launches The Classic Batman 1989 Batwing for Adults
Lego, being always in the spotlight, got its newest inspiration from Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie and has given us the brand new design set of Batwings.

It is not the first time LEGO managed to tempt certain fan bases, looking back at Bugatti and Star Wars collections. This time, the company is coming for DC fans again. Even Batman himself would want to have one of these.

The set includes 2,363 pieces and measures more than 4 ft. (11cm) high, 20 ft. (52cm) long and 22 ft. (58cm) wide. Big, isn't it? LEGO presented the new design with an extra brick that could be mounted on the wall. So you could almost have it like a magnificent puzzle painting ready to be exhibited for an appeal to the eye.

LEGO apparently kept the lines smooth to make it look realistic. With a full-interior and transparent canopy, it adds to the original set-up. The company also didn't forget to provide some easter eggs to help "truly transport builders back to 1989 and into the BATMAN universe."
"The emblematic set truly takes fans on a journey, as they immerse themselves into Gotham city and get hands-on with the set, using Batman, The Joker™ and Boombox goon minifigures to relive their favorite moments from the film," said LEGO Creative lead Jesper C. Nielsen.

Sadly, the new LEGO® 1989 Batwing is for fans over the age of 18. But it's thoughtful that LEGO not only aims for kids but makes some exciting surprises for adults as well.
If you are a VIP member, you will be able to reach out to this bold set soon, on the 21st of October. Other avid fans may have to wait until November 1st, 2020 to build the famous Batwing.
