Samsung sure does know how to make things explode. Regulators are now warning consumers that Samsung top load washing machines have the potential to explode. This announcement comes in the wake of the companies total recall of Note 7 phones, and they are currently investigating the issue with the washing machines.
Reports are coming from the Consumer Product Safety Commission who examined models over the last 5 years. Exact model numbers are not specified, rather that many of the top load washing machine models have the ability to intensely vibrate until explosion.
Samsung is currently working with the Commission to try and resolve the issue, and for now, it doesn't look like it will be as widespread as the Note 7 problem was.
"In rare cases, affected units may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bedding, bulky or water-resistant items." ~ Statement from Samsung
Given what seems to be a trail of toppling dominos behind Samsung recently, it almost seems that someone is trying to sabotage their business.
