Turn Old Glass Bottles Into Custom Glassware

In a world with so much waste, it is rare that we find products that allow us to reuse things in innovative and useful manners. Ways to cut glass bottles have been around for a while now, but many are unreliable and hard to use. A new bottle cutter called the Kinkajou offers up an easy-to-use platform for transforming all of your glass bottles into custom glassware. You can check out how it works in the video below.

This bottle cutter works by scoring the glass where hot water can then be used to break the glass in an even line. The product even comes with glass sanding pads so you don't have to worry about cutting your mouth while drinking out of the cup.

In an effort to reuse every portion of the glass bottles, the company also invented a small plug that fits in the bottleneck. This forms a watertight seal and allows for you to use the top as a wine glass or chalice.
