International Robotics ShowcaseThe International Showcase promises to be the highlight of the UK Robotic Week.
The International Robotics Showcase is the main event during the UK Robotics Week (#UKRW19). It promises to be a highly stimulating and aims to engage a wide audience through a combination of interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and talks.
The event will showcase some of the cutting edge technologies and developments in the world of robots. It will also feature presentations and talks from some of the world's top experts in science and technology.
Talks and presentations will cover topics including, but not limited to, the ethicals, legal, and economic impact of robotics and AI. Talks will also include some live robotic demonstrations and give delegates to meet academics and industry leaders.
2019 will be the event's 4th-year with the UK Robotics Week now the leading national event in RAS with over 165 events, 54 of which were core events organized by the Network.
The EPSRC UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Network was established in March 2015 with the mission to provide academic leadership in RAS, expand collaboration with industry and integrate and coordinate activities at eight Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded RAS capital facilities, four Centres of Doctoral Training (CDTs) and with, currently, 28 partner universities across the UK.
