Harley-Davidson and electric bicycle fans are squealing with joy. The iconic motorcycle-maker unveiled its newest and shiniest toy: Serial 1.
Serial 1 is a brand new e-bike that's part of a Harley-Davidson spin-off brand called Serial 1 Cycle Company. It's a beautiful play on the company's first-ever motorcycle back in 1903: Serial Number One.
We love the link, as Harley-Davidson's newest two-wheeler is forging a new path, just as much as the Serial Number One motorcycle did all those years ago.

Serial 1's first product is a looker. With its strong resemblance to the Serial Number One motorbike, this is an e-bike that'll tug on nostalgic souls' heartstrings.

Complete with a classic leather saddle and oversized springs, a belt drive instead of the typical chain, a dark frame, and chrome hardware, Serial 1 looks as striking as it looks comfortable.
The modern parts that stand out are its neatly-tucked back brake lights, its power signal, and a logo that lights up. You don't even notice it's an e-bike as the charger is neatly tucked within the mainframe of the bike.

If this e-bike doesn't have people rushing to become eco-friendly cyclists, nothing will.
"When Harley-Davidson first put power to two wheels in 1903, it changed how the world moved, forever," explained Aaron Frank, Brand Director for Serial 1 Cycle Company in a press release.
"Inspired by the entrepreneurial vision of Harley-Davidson’s founders, we hope to once again change how cyclists and the cycling-curious move around their world with a Serial 1 eBicycle."

As of now, we don't know how much the e-bike is going to cost. And we know very little about its specs, such as weight or range, but we'll venture to say these will be decent for such a prominent bike-maker.
One thing we do know—thanks to a countdown clock on the company's website—is it'll most likely be released on November 16th.
