Uday Schultz, a 19-year-old Harvard sophomore thought that he should go on that voyage he dreamed of since middle school. He has always wanted to travel across the US, as any reasonable fellow would, he punched in Seattle and began "driving" his way back to Brooklyn. Well, the problem was that he didn't have a car and the COVID-19 is still ravaging the country.
I've decided I'm going to drive from Seattle to NYC on Google Streetview. Have been considering this since quarantine began, but am now finally biting the bullet. Trying to get in 30-60 mins a day until I reach. Will post periodic updates here. Here's my starting point: pic.twitter.com/97SPk4mh52

You would assume he'd be doing this "road-trip" out of boredom but apparently, that's not the case at all. He says he's looking at it kind of like a research project.
Schultz told Motherboard, tech division of Vice: “I didn’t think it would be a gigantic thing I would remember forever, but it has taken up a life of its own in that regard.”

You can't really see it in this pic, but it's worth remarking on car shredding machines. They completely revolutionized car recycling by making it easier to separate component materials of old cars, helping ameliorate the issue of abandoned cars in the 70s and 80s. #SEANYC pic.twitter.com/bdQ8qW7ljD
