We’ve all been in a situation when during a trip to a foreign country, your phone or laptop dies and outlets at the place don’t match the plugs you brought. In this case, you have two options: to wander around a city trying to find a shop that sells suitable outlets or forget about taking those stunning photos with your mobile phone. However, a small inconvenience shouldn’t disrupt your vacation.
The same thought inspired Electronics Accessory Brand iBlockCube entrepreneurs to search for a solution to make traveling a bit more comfortable. The team came up with the Nimble idea. The Nimble is a versatile adapter designed to fit different outlets and various devices. Whether you’re a tech lover or someone keen on making your trips more convenient, the adapter is a practical solution for every traveler.
The device can be used in over 150 countries around the world. It allows charging six different devices at the same time, no matter whether you need to power up your mobile phone or finish the last season of a Netflix show on your laptop. The iBlockCube team says that the Nimble does not only provide more convenience while traveling but also saves time as the device has a quick charging feature and fast power delivery.

The portable charging station that does everything for you
Finding out the last minute that the cafe or hotel room has different outlets isn’t a part of the dream vacation scenario. Yet it’s challenging to plan everything to details before the trip and at the same time wasteful to buy a separate adapter only for a few days. A Nimble adapter is a helpful tool whether you’re traveling or just looking for ways to make more sustainable tech choices.
The device is compact and durable. Unlike traditional travel adapters, the Nimble does not share power across all of the USB-C and USB-A ports. The Nimble has integrated a USB-C QC/PD port to ensure optimized charging for mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and other compatible gadgets.
It also has a type-C QC/PD (Port 1) with dedicated 18W (individual motherboard), which allows a user to choose it as a priority port, and 3 USB + Type-C (Port 2) that are sharing 17W. The Nimble travel adapters have independent ports to ensure more efficient charging and safety of compatible devices.
The iBlockCube design team decided to use dual USB-C ports because of their performance and versatility. USB-C ports aren’t a new discovery, yet only in the past couple of years, the market recognized their potential. Gadget manufacturers implement Type-C ports due to a growing demand for faster and more efficient charging standards. While most of the devices we use on a daily basis can be charged with 18W, the Nimble adapters are the optimal choice.
For those who aren’t familiar with the tech side of this port, the only thing that matters is that it has a double end, which means you don’t need to try to find the right position to plug it into your phone or computer.

The Nimble Travel Adapter features
A universal adapter is an essential traveling companion. Preparing for a vacation or work trip takes a lot of energy and time, so you shouldn’t worry about finding the right outlet or adapter for your devices. Unlike regular travel adapters, the Nimble delivers a wide range of features making traveling more enjoyable.
Often vacation rentals don’t have enough outlets to charge all devices you brought to a trip. The Nimble is about to change that (not by providing more outlets) because you can charge up to 6 devices simultaneously.
You can forget arguing with a friend whose phone has fewer percent left. The gadget has 5 USB Ports of total output, reaching the maximum of 35W, which enables quick charging regardless of how many devices are plugged into it.
Additionally, the adapter is integrated with a dual voltage ability, which transmits energy anything from 100V to 240V. This way, the adapter doesn’t burn out and is safe to use with different voltage requirements.
Quick charge and power delivery
When traveling, every moment counts. Therefore, waiting for your phone to charge is annoying and time-consuming. The iBlockCube team took care of this issue by incorporating quick charge and power delivery features to the Nimble adapters.
Chargers that are compatible with a quick charge functionality provide a higher transfer rate to a gadget. If chargers are used with Quick Charge-enabled adapters, they can charge a smartphone up to 80% in only 35 minutes.
The Nimble also supports a fast power delivery technology, which allows transferring more power to a gadget and as a result, to charge it faster.
To ensure the highest safety measures, these devices have over-voltage protection, over-current protection, over-temperature protection, connector protection and detection, and many other safety precautions that make traveling stress-free.
Drop-proof and scratch-resistant
When traveling, you have a lot on your plate: to take care of accommodation, plan routes, buy flight tickets, count the budget, and don’t get lost. So, worrying about an adapter shouldn’t be on the list. The Nimble is drop-proof and scratch-resistant, which is essential while traveling because flights, train, or bus rides can get bumpy at times.
Compact and lightweight
Packing for a vacation is a major headache. You have to think of the different climate conditions, activities, and occasions to find the right outfit and fit everything into one suitcase. The Nimble adapters are light-weighted and compact to fit a small purse. It’s a more convenient choice than several adapters to suit all your devices. Not to mention, no more tangled cords.

The Nimble testing reports
Before launching the project, iBlockCube ran several testing cycles to make sure the gadget is capable of meeting what’s promised. Tests conducted using MacBook 29W, SWITCH, iPhone XR, and iPad Pro (2018 Model). The team used the PD/QC port for examination, although charging time didn’t change using other ports that the device has integrated.
All four devices were charged from 0% to 50%. MacBook 29W reached the targeted goal in 48 minutes, SWITCH and iPad Pro took 65 minutes to charge, and iPhone XR reached 50% in only 20 minutes.
The Nimble has three independent circuit boards and enables charging phones, tablets, laptops, and other compatible devices way faster and safer than traditional adapters. On the contrary, regular travel adapters have only one circuit board-sharing power across all ports.
