There's a new foldable phone in town and it is a beauty. Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the new phone called Mate X will give the Samsung Galaxy Fold a run for its money.

Unfolding into an 8-inch display

Priced at US $2,600 (€2,299), it comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone also has a 6.6-inch front screen and 6.38-inch back screen. However, when unfolded it creates a combined 8-inch display.

Not to be ignored, it also features cameras that are powered by Leica technology. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's consumer products business, announced the Mate X on Sunday in a press conference.
