Why become an engineer? Aside from the joy of helping to design something and see it take shape, whether, in the physical or digital world, the field of engineering is one that pays handsomely for top talent.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) engineers have a median annual wage of $91,010 and engineers are consistently paid the highest average starting salary worldwide.

What's more, the field of engineering is projected to have employment growth of nearly 140,000 new jobs this decade.
