The days of folding your clothes by hand are coming to an end with a new device that automates the entire process. The best part is this little appliance doesn't cost all that much when you put it into the perspective of other household appliances like a washer or dryer. The usefulness of this device extends further than residential uses, and if you have ever worked in the retail industry, you probably know where I'm headed. No longer will store employees spend their time refolding clothes that customers have messed up. Clothing stores could have a line of these machines making sure their inventory is in tip top shape, 24/7.

However, the target price will be between $700-850, which puts it in the price range of many, according to the Huffington Post. You may be thinking you don't want to spend that much on a clothes folder, but when you imagine the time you will save over years of use, it quickly becomes worth it. I think we're all hoping that this clothes folding machine isn't just another pretty gadget meant to generate hype and never gets built.
Foldimate, the company behind this innovative product, has gained a lot of notoriety and hype surrounding the announcement of this clothes folding device. Rightfully so, too. If this device can be pulled off, dressers everywhere will start becoming tidy and filled with perfectly folded shirts. I am definitely putting this clothes folding machine on my must have list.
