Audi China, Wacom, and Horizon Robotics to Keynote at CES China 2019

Audi China, Wacom, and Horizon Robotics join Huawei and Hyundai's leaders as the first confirmed keynotes at the upcoming CES Asia 2019 in Shanghai.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has already announced some of the first speakers that are already scheduled to deliver a keynote address at CES Asia 2019, the premier event for the consumer technology industry. This year, CES Asia is going to run on June 11-13 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) in Shanghai, China.

Now in its fifth year, the show is going to focus on the latest innovation in transportation technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G technology, and 115 startups from around the world.

Attendees are going to have the opportunity learn from over 550 exhibiting companies about their latest product and service developments or top of experiencing the latest tech trends that we anticipated at the beginning of the year.

 Here are the three latest keynotes announced:

Mobility Transformation: Audi China President Thomas Owsianski

Thomas Owsianski, President of Audi China, is going to deliver his keynote address on Tuesday, June 11 at 4 PM. Owsianski's keynote comes packed with excitement and expectation. He is going to unveil Audi's vision in transforming mobility from a driving experience to a digital adventure.

"Audi has been at the forefront of driving global transformation in the automotive industry through their breakthrough advancements in technology." said Karen Chupka, Executive Vice-President at CES.

"Innovation has revolutionized the transportation experience, and we welcome Mr. Owsianski to the CES Asia stage to share Audi's vision for the future of global mobility," she said.

There is no doubt that technology is improving the global transportation experience at a high speed. It is making roads safer, enabling greater accessibility, creating job opportunities at the same time that is using automation to speed up some repetitive processes.

All in all, the transportation industry is a clear example of a merge between human and automation where both work together as a synchronized team allowing for greater productivity.  

CES Asia is going to feature some of the best and latest in transportation technology. This year, vehicle technology is going to double its footprint on the show floor. Attendees are also going to find a new dedicated hall with the latest concept cars and connected vehicles.

Wacom President and CEO Nobu Ide: Trends in digital inks and Extended Reality 

Wacom is a leader in the future of digital ink and innovative technology solutions for the creative world. Nobu Ide's keynote is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at 4PM. Ide joined Wacom in 2013 and assumed the role of Representative Director, President, and CEO in April 2018.

The future of digital ink in today's digital world is one of the trends that fascinate many.

Wacom's Nobu Ide is going to unveil the company's vision on what the future will bring in the digital ink space as well as presenting the company's latest innovative solutions in Extended Reality (XR) to bring new opportunities to the creative community.

XR refers to the real and virtual combined environments and human-machine interactions generated by computer technology and wearables. XR includes Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Virtuality (AV).

AI on Horizon: Horizon Robotics Co-Founder Dr. Chang Huang announces company's strategy for the future

Dr. Chang Huang co-founded Horizon Robotics in 2015. Today, the company is a leader in edge Artificial Intelligence processors and computing platforms. Dr. Huang currently serves as Vice-President of the company.

Dr. Chang Huang's keynote at CES Asia has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at 9:30 AM. During his keynote presentation, Dr. Huang is going to unveil Horizon Robotics' latest advancements in edge computing as well as the company's strategy for future AI applications.

"Artificial Intelligence is transforming computing platforms and Horizon Robotics is at the forefront of the revolution," said Karen Chupka, Executive and Vice-President of CES.
