Bike Company Eliminates Shipping Damage by Printing TV on Box

When a custom bike company had problems with safely shipping their goods, they came up with a creative solution keep everything safe. Instead of adding more packing material or switching shipping companies, they decided to start printing flat screen televisions on the sides of their boxes. Once they did this, nearly all of their shipping problems vanished.

For a growing bike company, they have ambitious goals of moving 90% of all of their bike sales online by 2020, but their shipping processes kept putting a damper on their plan. Not only was the bad shipping damage bad for customers, but it also meant more money for VanMoof to replace parts. So, they thought, why spend more money protecting our products when we can trick shippers into handling them nicely?

In a perfect world, there wouldn't exist any shipping damage, but we all know that that isn't true. For pennies on the dollar compared to other solutions, printing the image of a TV on the side of their boxes solved all their problems.

Hopefully FedEx doesn't catch on...
