COVID-19-Monitoring Coin-Sized Wearable Unveiled

There's a new invention in town for COVID-19 monitoring and it is turning heads at CES 2021 where it has been nominated for the Best of Innovation award. The device is a coin-sized disposable medical wearable apparatus called the BioButton and produced by BioIntelliSense, a continuous health monitoring, and clinical intelligence company.

Early COVID-19 detection
The BioButton works by continuously measuring temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate at rest while at the same time analyzing changes that may indicate the signs and symptoms of early COVID-19 infection.

The device is FDA-cleared and ensures strict privacy and security safeguards are maintained in order to protect health data privacy.
The BioSticker
BioIntelliSense also offers a similar product called the BioSticker, a single-use disposable apparatus that provides BioMobile™ daily health screening surveys based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
The BioSticker is discreetly worn on the upper left chest making it both comfortable and appealing. In fact, it has been described as the kind of device you simply stick on and forget. It also offers a fall detection feature.
The BioSticker provides a high-resolution view of the wearer's trending and health condition, all at a fraction of the cost of traditional RPM. Both the BioButton and BioSticker have been created with COVID-19 in mind and are meant to assist a safe return to school and work during the pandemic.
