P&G Built a Cool Virtual CES 2021 Exhibit Complete with Avatars
Events in 2020 and this year have had to either take a step back or have had to reinvent themselves virtually and remotely. Global innovation event, CES 2021, falls under that second bracket.
Event organizers and companies alike have had to think outside of the box for CES 2021, and one such corporation is Procter & Gamble (P&G). The company created its very own virtual expo, LifeLab Everyday, which took its visitors through an immersive and educational experience.
We took our very own tour of this year's virtual LifeLab Everyday, and we loved it!

Given innovation is at the center of CES' and P&G's game, it comes as little surprise that the company would create something that complies with the motto.

P&G's LifeLab Everyday virtual expo saw each visitor build its own avatar — something this writer highly enjoyed — before walking into an elevator that showcased the myriad innovations P&G created over the 180 years it's been in action, and then into the LifeLab.

Here, using the computer's arrows to move backwards, forwards, right, or left, either running or walking (we'll admit that it was rather funny watching other visitors running through a virtual scenario) through the expo.

Different sections of the LifeLab were easily accessible by clicking on them or walking in specific directions. The Theatre section hosted videos of P&G management welcoming visitors to the exhibit, as well as explaining the company's motivation for its range of products.

The immersive exhibits that P&G had on display had a strong sustainability focus this year. There was the Holy Grail, a sorting system for plastic packaging to improve recycling issues, EC30, a more sustainable liquid to clean, The 50L Home Coalition, a global-oriented platform that combines public and civic institutions to work together to find water scarcity solutions.

On the oral and home care front, P&G showcased Oral-B iO, an innovative electric toothbrush, Microban 24, a range of home sanitizing products (apt given the global situation), Febreze Fade Defy Plug Air Freshener, a digitally-controlled air freshener, and Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray, a clean-as-you-cook option that blocks those sticky foods off your dishes.
We were especially impressed by The 50L Home Coalition, which housed its own immersive exhibit within the LifeLab. Not only was it visually cool to walk through the exhibit, but it was also educational and is a fantastic coalition that is working towards making 50 liters of water per person per day seem like 500 liters.

With water scarcity being one of our planet's and society's most important challenges, it's great to see companies such as P&G bringing international institutions together to battle this issue.
With P&G team members at-the-ready to assist in the virtual LifeLab Everyday, there were no issues while walking through the exhibit. You could easily talk, listen in on other conversations, or type messages without any issues.
