At this point, it seems that nothing seems to surprise us when it comes to future vehicles.

However, this week Groupe Renault unveiled a truly innovative and inspiring concept car at the Paris Motor Show that made heads turn and journalists worldwide take notice.

The 100% electric self-driving concept car called EZ-ULTIMO has been touted by the firm as a "robovehicle for a premium mobility service experience."

And the car does not disappoint! In addition to being autonomous and electric, EZ-ULTIMO is a luxurious aerodynamic connected shared mobility service solution that is truly equipped to offer a true premium travel experience.

Indeed, this concept is the luxury version of Uber catering to people who need that something extra for their daily commutes or longer journeys.

"As consumer trends change and people are enjoying ridehailing services more and more, a new paradigm for mobility will emerge. Embodying this revolution, Renault EZ-ULTIMO offers a unique luxurious experience aboard a robovehicle that can be adapted depending on the service provider,” said in a statement Laurens van den Acker, SVP Corporate Design for Groupe Renault.
