Rumor Report: Apple Will Supposedly Release a Port-Free iPhone in 2021

Be prepared for entirely wireless charging and syncing iPhones come 2021. Generally accurate Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo predicts this is the future of iPhones in the next two years on his website 9to5Mac.
Most Apple aficionados believe the company would move its future smartphone models to a USB-C at some point in the near future, but that may not be the case according to Kuo.
In his analysis, Kuo also shares what he believes iPhones will look like in 2020.

Big changes in the Apple pipeline
This would be a significant change for the iPhone maker, as all of their phones have relied on a Lightning port since it was first introduced with the iPhone 5 in 2012.
If Apple are to switch to an entirely wireless charging and syncing experience, it wouldn't only have big ramifications for iPhone users around the world, but also on the technology industry in general.

From charging cable companies to headphone manufacturers, the tech industry would have to massively rethink its systems if this plan comes to fruition.
That said, 2021 isn't quite round the corner, with Apple's 2020 iPhones not even on the shelves yet. Kuo does, however, have a pretty decent reputation of making accurate predictions when it comes to all things Apple. So the likelihood of wireless charging iPhones in the near future is indeed a possibility.
Kuo's other predictions may be seen sooner in time, as he also goes into detail about Apple's 2020 lineup. Five new phones are rumored to make an appearance next year.

The first one of which is the iPhone SE 2, which Kuo predicts will have a 4.7 inch LCD display and a form factor very close to the current iPhone 8 model.
Kuo also believes the other four OLED iPhones will boast 5G, triple-camera models like its most recent models, and two different sizes: a 6.1 inch model, and a 6.7 inch one.
We'll have to wait at least until next year to see whether Kuo's predictions are true, but there are some exciting times ahead in the tech world so it seems.
