These $89 Wireless Headphones are Tough Competition for Apple's AirPods
These sleek new headphones are the next step toward wireless devices.
With Apple's removal of the 35mm headphone jack, wired headphones officially went out of fashion. Since then, developers have been perfecting the art of wireless headphones, waiting for the day when other smart devices follow Apple's lead.
Air headphones by crazybaby hope to be ahead of its time. The HD resolution gives full stereo sound. It also comes with voice assistance to communicate with your smartphone's assistant, regardless if it's Cortana, Google or Siri.
The headphones have wireless connectivity with any Bluetooth devices, making them perfect for Apple or Android smartphones. The automatic pairing saves you a step from traditional wireless systems, and it means less dropped connections.
To charge the headphones, simply place them into their aluminum shell and plug the shell into a power outlet. According to crazybaby, one hour of charging charges the Air headphones three times over. One full battery gives all day usage in an elegant charging package.
"Sound and connection is to the essence of Air by crazybaby's design," said the company's founder Allen Zhang. "Customized true wireless sound technology makes sure you hear every detail of the music. Consistent and reliable connection powered by latest CSR technology make Air the best in its category."
The headphone's developers took into account motion as well. Air headphones are designed to not slip out or be too tight in your ear, assuring you they'll stay in place as you run, jump or bike.
You can even balance your Air via the crazybaby app. You can customize a playlist and fine tune your EQ in the same spot.
Crazybaby's Air currently has a crowdfunding campaign through IndieGoGo. You can pre-order them for $89 USD before they hit the market in January 2017. Market retail price is $159 for the buds, so it's best to pre-order them while you can. You'll even get a one year warranty on the headphones.
