Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques within a specific area of expertise including knowledge of NQA-1 and/or 10CFR50 Appendix B programs a plus.
Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software mentioned above.
Effective organization level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
Under general supervision, performs moderately complex nuclear engineering assignments. Provides in-service inspections, safety and regulatory analysis and risk management for nuclear power plant facilities. Maintains environmental, safety and health standards in the performance of duties.
Supports senior technical personnel and project managers within own organization in various technical activities related to system and technical product development. Receives general supervision from management as well as technical guidance and training from the more experienced technical staff.
