A two-story home in Fayette City, Missouri has been recently found by Bored Panda, and it looks like it is the perfect suburban house that would have most probably adorn the dreams of many -- if it didn't come with a fully functional jail, of course.

As all bizarre stories do, this one started on a Facebook group -- Labcoat Agents, to be exact. The business-oriented group, aimed at real estate industry experts and specialists, posted a listing for a house found at 203 E Morrison, Fayette, Missouri.

While it may look like a normal 2,465-square-foot (229-square-meter) house on a 6,100-square-foot (566-square-meter), it is not quite what one would expect. Two bedrooms, one full and one-half bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and just a few steps beyond the kitchen, a door leads to the basement where a pristine, ready-to-use jail awaits.

The house has a story, of course. Built back in 1875, it was named the Howard Country Sheriff's House and Jail.
