Former Navy Lieutenant Says He Used to See UFOs All the Time for Years

The retired navy official claims to be worried about these sightings.

Just ahead of the upcoming release of a Pentagon report on unidentified flying objects, former Navy lieutenant Ryan Graves spoke to CBS News about his experience with what may potentially be alien aircraft.

Graves reported that he and other members of his F/A-18 fighter squadron detected what could be UFOs in the restricted airspace southeast of Virginia Beach nearly every day for two years beginning in 2015. The military refers to these crafts as unidentified aerial phenomena or UAP.

"I am worried, frankly. You know, if these were tactical jets from another country that were hanging out up there, it would be a massive issue," Graves told Bill Whitaker in an interview airing Sunday on 60 Minutes. "But because it looks slightly different, we're not willing to actually look at the problem in the face. We're happy to just ignore the fact that these are out there, watching us every day."

The lieutenant added that they may be spy aircraft from Russia or China and that the technology is extremely advanced.

Gravity-defying objects

“Imagine a technology that can do 600 to 700 G-forces, that can fly 13,000 miles an hour (21,000 km/h), that can evade radar and can fly through air and water and possibly space, and oh, by the way, has no obvious signs of propulsion, no wings, no control surfaces and yet still can defy the natural effects of Earth’s gravity,” Luis Elizondo, a former Department Of Defence official who investigated UAP for nearly a decade told CBS. “That’s precisely what we’re seeing.”

The question still remains: Are these crafts super-advanced human-made air vehicles or are they actually of alien origin? Last February, Elon Musk, was asked what he thought about the recent revelations that Navy pilots had seen UFOs. He responded by saying: “Honestly, I think I would know if there were aliens." Would he really?

Meanwhile, a recent report stated that last year saw a surge in UFO sightings recorded in the U.S with New Yorkers alone reporting 300 UFO sightings — the highest number to date. However, another report revealed that UFO sightings may just be enemy drones gathering intel on the U.S.

It seems we will have to wait till June for a task force championed by Sen. Marco Rubio to submit their findings on UFOs to congress. Will we have the answers we seek then or will the question of UFOs still be left unanswered?
