SpaceIL Now Planning Second Private Moon Lander

Even though SpaceIL's first attempt at a moon landing was a failure, the firm is announcing they will be trying again. On Saturday, founder Morris Khan took to Twitter to announce that the "dream goes on" with the launch of Beresheet 2.0.

Khan further revealed that the team behind the new lander would start its work on April 14th to "complete the mission". However, no other details were given.
The first Beresheet lander crashed into the surface of the moon after a main engine failure just two days ago. The accident occurred during its descent over Mare Serenitatis, on the northern hemisphere of the moon.
"We had a failure in the spacecraft,” said a SpaceIL representative at the time. “We unfortunately have not managed to land successfully. We are the seventh country to orbit the moon and the fourth to reach the moon's surface, and it's a tremendous achievement up until now.”
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was also on hand for the event, seemed more positive announcing: “If at first you don't succeed, you try again."
It seems Khan has taken a page from Netanyahu's book.
