"Incomparably fast, light, extreme," is how Bugatti describes its shiny new contraption: the Bugatti Bolide, and it certainly looks like it fits the bill.
Striking images and specs of the hyper sports car have been shared on the French luxury automaker's website, and they'll leave your jaw dropped and your eyes popping.
Designed around an 8.0 liter W16 engine with up to 1,850 horsepower, the ultra-light and ultra-fast Bolide is a beast of power weighing only 2,734 pounds (1,240 kg).

The experimental study of the Bugatti Bolide is definitely a race track-oriented hyper sports car and it promises to offer the fantastic Bugatti performance experience.

The Bolide can reach figures on par with Formula 1 race cars, with its top speed sitting over 310 mph (500 km/h) without compromising maximum handling and maximum agility. The speedy car can lap around Le Mans in 3:07:01 minutes, and 5:23:01 minutes around Nürburgring Nordschleife's track.

However incredible this all sounds, it has to be noted that these figures come with little asterisks' and small print on Bugatti's website. These weight numbers are based on "theoretically possible dry weight," and its speed numbers are based on "simulated figures."

That said, it's still a beast of a machine and it's a sight for sore eyes, as the company's recently-shared images display.

With that all said and done, enjoy the marvel of engineering and design the Bugatti Bolide offers, and watch a full review of it below:
