These Next-Level 3D-Printed Toys Will Bend Your Brain

You can actually 3D print your own too.

It is not an exaggeration when we say that 3D printing is the "magic" of the Space Age: manifesting whatever your heart desires with ink only, what's more magical than that?

The-lazy-engineer is one such magician who has a growing library of hypnotizing designs at Cults. Their most recent design has been making rounds on the internet lately, a 3D model called "Satisfying Hexagons" and it is just hard to digest what you're seeing when you're looking at it.

On the site description, the-lazy-engineer wrote that this one is a small geometric toy that is "oddly satisfying to play with."

While we agree with that, it is for sure that this thing also has powers to hypnotize you. It would definitely work as a desk decoration; however, it surely would distract you from what you're doing instantly.

If you ever decide to do one for yourself, they stated that you'd need four small magnets, ranging from 0.2 inches (6 millimeters) diameter to 0.09 inches (2.5 millimeters) height.

If you have a 3D printer but somehow don't have magnets, you need not fear. Apparently, you can print the pin at a shorter length and operate it from the top.

They stated that while it might not have the same effect, it would "still do the trick."

Another project they did is just as eye-catching. This toy is based on hyperboloid, and it is very entertaining and mind-bending indeed.

In the description, they stated that they 3D printed everything except the nylon thread that they used to hold the beads in place.

For those who want to 3D print this one, it doesn't require any special settings.

They wrote, "I printed mine in PLA, on an Ender 3, with a 0.6 mm nozzle (0.4 should be fine as well), 0.2 mm layer height, and 20% infill," adding that the beads are easier to print with a brim.
