Thanks to the pandemic, this year has moved on the course of an all stay-home concept. While the ones who'd love to spend time outside got a little depressed over time, it proved useful for those home birds. And it's quite justifiable to decorate your place accordingly.
So this guy, Phil Stiller chose to rebuild his mancave from the scratch, fancying it up with a full Star Trek concept and recorded a little tour video of it. The build-up is from two years ago, though. It seems that Stiller was a prescient one to get his place ready. At the end of the day, home is where the taste is.
He starts by asking his personal assistant Alexa to open to the door calling actually "Open Sesame!" And the sliding door opens.
When he gets in, you bump into that dazzling room decorated with huge screens, on which most probably the designer plays computer games through a console. But at first glance, they just act as the thematic displays.
It even comprises a mini-movie saloon with four couches placed on the ground and a screen bigger than the average one. It's hard to tell if you could just concentrate on a catchy movie in a place full of led lights though.
To make you feel like you're on a floating spacecraft, he mounted a three-section display on the wall and you can just see the Earth is slowly whirling on its axis.
The LEDs that are decorated horizontally on the wall are not neon, the designer indicates. And all lighting is color controllable.
And who wouldn't want to pull a cork in a space-craft? The guy apparently didn't let alcohol go to waste, and built a space bar in this ex-futuristic mancave.
It's like those short videos that we get surprised upon seeing little doors open to smaller and cozy places: this room looks extraordinary. This is what you call making the most out of it!
Stiller has shared what the room looked like before to give you an insight into what he has achieved.
If you'd like to see more of the building phase, you are more than welcome to check out his video, as he captured the process very thoroughly.
