Pilot Honors George Floyd with Raised Fist Symbol as Flight Path

The raised first symbol has been circulating around the world in honor of George Floyd, and as a symbol of the Black Lives Matter global network and movement. Last week, a pilot in Canada took to the skies to share his support in a creative way.
The pilot sketched out a raised fist as his flight path, which was picked up by FlightAware and shared over Twitter. It has since grown in popularity, with many posting comments in support of the flight's drawing.
This isn't the first time a pilot uses his tools and expertise to draw an important message across the skies.

Skilled message
Pilot Dimitri Neonakis took nearly two and a half hours last Thursday over the skies of Halifax, Canada, to sketch out his supportive pattern.

Neonakis later explained his tribute to George Floyd via Facebook.
'330 nautical mile flight pattern which took the shape of a movement symbol'
In his own words, Neonakis said "Today I flew this 330 nautical mile flight pattern which took the shape of a movement symbol which I respect and support."
He continued "While I was up there moving around free, the words of George Floyd “I can’t Breathe” came to mind a few times, a stark contrast."
In his now-viral post, Neonakis pointed out that he sees "a World of one race in multi colours - this is the World I see, and this is my message !! End Racism."
