Tesla Recalls Nearly 30,000 Model X and Model S Cars in China

In China, Tesla is apparently going to recall up to 30,000 Model S and Model X cars, as per Bloomberg, who was the first to report on the news.
The reason for the recall is due to faulty suspension systems of these vehicles that were made in the company's Beijing branch between September 17th, 2013 and January 15th, 2018, per a statement from China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (in Mandarin).
That's a high amount of vehicles being recalled over a fair amount of time. However, better late than never, as the saying goes.

What does the statement say?
One of Gizmodo's team members helped translate the main reasons for the recall from the agency's statement, which appeared to mention issues surrounding the connecting rod in the vehicles' rear suspension. These appeared to snap or warp off.
There's another issue the agency states, which has to do with the front suspension, which seemed to suffer problems with ball studs that created cracks that would ultimately leave them apart in the end.
Tesla admitting design flaws
This isn't the first time Tesla has either been denounced or put its hand up in acceptance that some of its vehicles suffer certain issues depending on where they were put together.
Take for instance Tesla admitting design flaws in its Model 3 cars that led to rear bumpers falling off in rain or puddles. Or when a brand new Model Y's roof came flying off when the new owner drove home on the highway. You can also see why some Model Y owners were becoming upset upon noticing their car's cooling systems sporting fake wood systems.
So, it seems that it's not only U.S. Tesla owners who are suffering from a number of design flaws, but also those living in China.
It's not all doom and gloom, however, as Tesla announced last Thursday that it will be installing its fantastic HEPA filters into its new Model Y cars.
