It turns out Tesla has been using its Semi prototype truck to deliver cars. The truck was spotted by a Twitter user called Alex who shared an image of the event.

According to Electrek, Alex said he spotted the Tesla Semi near the Fremont factory. It was carrying new vehicles.

It is presumed that the truck was bringing electric cars to other Tesla locations for deliveries to customers. Tesla has always said that it would be the first to use its own Tesla Semis to both reduce transportation costs and emissions.

It seems the firm is making good on its promise. Tesla also used a Semi to deliver its electric vehicles last year. CEO Elon Musk tweeted a picture of that event with the caption "Tesla Semi delivering Tesla cars".

We have to say Tesla is really looking like the future of sustainability. Using an electric vehicle to deliver electric vehicles is so ultra-eco-conscious and ultra-cool.

But not all is rosy for Tesla. The firm is having some trouble delivering its 8,000 to 10,000 cars to customers in North America before the end of the quarter.

Musk even apologized for the delays caused by the global pandemic. It's good that the firm has its Semi to help things along but will that be enough? Only time will tell.
