Trump Congratulates Elon Musk for Texas Tesla Factory
For a while, Tesla was trying to decide whether their next, and biggest factory would be in Tulsa, Oklahoma or Austin, Texas. On July 22, Elon Musk revealed that Cybertruck factory would be opened in Austin, Texas and that its construction was already underway beginning last weekend. Although, Musk also noted that they will still be considering Tulsa for another factory in the future.
Trump tweeted the following:
Great job by @elonmusk in agreeing to build, in TEXAS, what is expected to be the largest auto plant anywhere in the world. He kept his word to me. Texas & @Tesla are big winners. MADE IN THE USA!

Elon musk was not late to reply, he wrote:
Thank you on behalf of the Tesla team. We look forward to building Giga Texas!

Tesla plans to hire up to 5,000 workers at an average salary of $47,147, with entry-level positions starting at $35,000. It will invest at least $1 billion and is planning to build a factory that's around 4 and 5 million square feet (370,000 to 460,000 sq meters) wide.
And apparently, the factory will be open to the public, Musk reported that there will be hiking and biking trails. Also that it will be basically an ecological paradise with all the birds, butterflies, trees, and streams.
