Ferrari F40 is every car enthusiasts' dream since it is extremely rare and imprinted into the minds of many. Therefore, seeing it engulfed in flames is not an easy task.

The video was originally captured by smih_carspotting on Instagram and shows the rare beauty blazing with fire in the streets of Monaco. The car is believed to be an extremely rare F40 prototype, unveiled at the 1987 Frankfurt Auto Show. It is later converted into an F40 GT race car by Italian Engineering outfit Michelotto. What a waste!

The reason behind the fire is still unknown, however, it probably originated in the engine compartment.

And it looks like the beautiful beast is beyond saving.

However, we still want to give a big kudos to the man who was trying to put up the fire with a garden hose. It was nowhere enough to stop the fire, however, he is still a hero in our hearts.

On a more serious note, every driver needs to buy a simple kitchen fire extinguisher and keep it in their car just in case. It's better to be safe than sorry.
