Hurray! The new year is here and we can all rejoice as 2021 was indeed a tough one. But as we celebrate new beginnings and new adventures, we can't help but wonder: what will this new year bring?
In this video, we explore some of the changes that may continue in 2022 and some of the innovations that may arise. Let's start with work. The physical office will become ever more optional with many firms offering employees full-time remote work or hybrid options.
We may see the emergence of virtual or augmented reality to create more social work environments while we stay physically distant as COVID-19 continues its devastation. The rise in resignations may accelerate automation leading to robots becoming more commonplace. Brands will have to focus on and produce new and exciting marketing strrategies to cater to the new and improved virtual-reality spaces.
Self-driving cars are bound to increase in popularity and we are likely to see several countries passing laws legalizing autonomous driving. Sustainability will still be a buzzword and a priority for tech companies everywhere with firms looking for more ways to be eco-conscious and eco-friendly.
