Are you in need of a good food slicer? After all, there is nothing more fun than cutting up your fruits and vegetables into little pieces.
It turns out you can actually make a wooden DIY food slicer. This project is not for everyone. It requires some advanced expertise and tools. But it sure is fun to watch!
First, you start with a circular piece of wood. You make sure that the piece has a giant hole inside. Then you take four blades and have then connect in the middle of that hole.
You poor glue all around the wood and glue another similar piece of wood on top of it. This will keep the blades in place. You then take a screw and insert it in the middle of the hole where the blades all meet.
You connect that middle part to a working motor. Test the motor. When you turn it on do the blades turn too? Good, the first part of the food slicer is complete.
