Blasting a GoPro Out of a Cannon Gives You Stellar Results

Shelby Rogers

This video proves you don't need an expensive drone for cool aerial shots. YouTubers Sam and Niko blasted a GoPro out of an air cannon and got some spectacular footage.

Their GoPro soared over 440 feet at nearly 240 feet high. The action camera lived up to its name as it whizzed by at 84 mph. Despite attempts at finding something to shield the camera from serious impact, the GoPro died after an insanely rough landing. However, props to Sam and Niko for coming up with the idea. We're sure using this method sparingly could be an interesting and more creative alternative than buying a drone.
