Boston Dynamics' Robot Can Now Dance Better Than You

In yet another video posted this month by the robotics firm, another robot can be seen doing things much better than humans. This is probably the best moonwalk we have ever seen!

We have been doing our best at dismissing rumors of a possible world domination by robots but it is getting increasingly harder to do so as robotics firm Boston Dynamics keeps releasing video after video of robots doing things far better than humans. This latest clip shows they are equally good at even dancing better than us.

All joking aside it seems like the firm has definitely upped its advertising material which makes us wonder if some big announcement may be coming soon. Or could it be the fact that lately it has been hit with some competition?

We know the firm plans to start selling its SpotMinis by 2019. But what else could these robotics mavericks have in mind?

“Robotics isn't like some fields were the applications are all worked out and well known. We are simultaneously figuring out what the use cases are while developing the technology,” said founder Marc Raibert at TechCrunch’s May 2018 TC Sessions: Robotics.

Could the innovators have robotic dance shows in mind for the future? The firm called the video UpTown Spot and many commented it may have been a drunk post by one of the robots themselves.

We can't help but wonder how long it will be before these advanced machines will be taking and posting their own videos. In the meantime, enjoy this adorable little routine, especially the moonwalk!
