By Slicing Wood Just Right, You Can Actually Make it Bend


Wood is an incredible material to work with, but there are some properties that it almost never has. Bending is one of those properties. We're not talking about bending a thin sheet of wood, but rather folding thick lengths into serpentine patterns. There is a technique for making wood bend that involves making many cuts down the length of a wood piece, essentially turning it into an accordion.
