YouTuber Matt Ferrell is an expert on all things related to green technology. You may remember his previous video where he discussed whether solar panels are worth it after four years and this episode where he explained the breakthrough that lets electric vehicles charge in minutes.

Now, he is back with a new show that aims to paint CO2 in a more positive light. That might be strange coming from an environmentally conscious YouTuber, but it turns out that CO2 does hold a lot of promise for being used in a battery that actually works.

Indeed, the much-reviled greenhouse gas emission could hold the key to energy storage. This means that CO2 could play a role in one of the biggest keys to fighting global warming: renewable energy. It is a known fact that renewable energy is held back because of a lack of proper storage.
