Shipping container homes may not be as structurally sound as they may seem
The concept of modularity is an appealing one, so it's not that surprising to see that shipping container homes have caught on. Homes made from shipping containers have been popular for some time now, with many people considering them "the future of housing in America". They've appeared everywhere, from reality TV shows to talks about housing policy, as well as Airbnb.
