Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service Shows the Fires Happened in 2019
This year was pretty unfortunate for the Earth and mother nature, in terms of fire. There have been a lot of places that burned to the ground this year.
This video shows the pathetic situation of fires that happened throughout 2019. It's an obvious fact that forests and trees are our life sources and we should take care of them, and even plant more trees and try to protect the forests around the world.
But this serious image of fires shows us that we weren't successful in protecting the very sources of our lives. Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) shows in this video how 2019 burned.
CAMS senior scientist Mark Parrington said, "It has been an extremely busy year for CAMS regarding the monitoring of wildfires. Throughout the year we have been closely watching the intensity of the fires and the smoke they emit all around the world and have experienced at times some quite exceptional fire activity. Even in places where we would expect to see fires at certain points of the year some of the activity has been surprising."
