Cut Through Materials Easily By Hacking Your Hand Drill With Paper
This video is one of those addicting technical clips like the pneumatic press that squeezes pretty much any object you can think of. Or how about those viral melting video clips. Yes, they're everywhere! The most amazing fact about this video is that the piece of paper manages to slit through tough materials like wood, plastic, and acrylic. A piece of ordinary-looking A4 paper, cut in two perfect circles and glued to each other, is attached to the end point of a hand drill. At this point, all you need is torque and a velocity with an extreme rpm and voila, you have a simple and effective cutting tool.
If you don't want to spend a few quid or bucks on high-end cutting discs for cutting through simple materials then this is the solution you are looking for. Although, please do not attempt to relive your childhood by running the hand drill and sticking your fingers through the revolving piece of paper. It's a simple DIY craft that would benefit those who likes to fix and build things on their own. However, for those who are not so DIY-inclined, as the experts say: do not try this at home!
